Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Special Procedures / Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist - Bay City, MI Start Date: November 10, 2025 Weekly Pay: $2,773.60 (Pre-Tax) Shift: 4x10 Days (On-Call & Weekend Rotations Required) Location: Bay City, Michigan Job Summary Under the direction and supervision of a radiologist or physician, the Special Procedures / Cath Lab Technologist performs advanced radiographic and interventional procedures, as well as general diagnostic exams as needed. This position requires precision, professionalism, and independent decision-making within established protocols to ensure accurate imaging results and patient safety. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Educate patients and families on procedure steps, preparation, and aftercare. Produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain thorough documentation for radiologist interpretation. Conduct routine equipment quality control, troubleshoot issues, and notify appropriate personnel as needed. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all radiation safety and infection control standards. Maintain departmental workflow efficiency and adequate inventory of supplies. Assist with other duties as assigned to support departmental operations. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related job experience. Cath Lab Experience: Required Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certifications: BLS (AHA) - Required ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist - Required Licensure: Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist License (LARA). Other: Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
