The
Head of IT Infrastructure
leads the Engineering, Network, and Data Centre teams while overseeing global identity, collaboration, and cloud services. This role is accountable for managing multiple Azure AD tenants, driving identity management and consolidation initiatives, and ensuring the resilience and scalability of the company's infrastructure. The position also oversees office technology setup, relocation, and decommissioning projects worldwide.
With a globally dispersed team, the role combines operational excellence with a strong focus on modernization - including driving the adoption of automation and AI to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and enable smarter infrastructure operations.
Job Description
Leadership & Strategy • Lead and manage globally dispersed Engineering, Network, and Data Centre teams. • Define and deliver the enterprise infrastructure roadmap across on-premises, Azure cloud, and hybrid environments. • Drive modernization, automation, and AI adoption to transform infrastructure operations. • Align infrastructure, identity, and collaboration strategy with business priorities and user productivity.
Identity, Collaboration & Cloud Management • Manage multiple Azure AD tenants, leading identity governance, access control, and consolidation programs. • Provide technical and strategic leadership for the Microsoft 365 suite. • Oversee cloud (Azura, GCP, OCI) and cloud workloads (compute, storage, networking, monitoring, security) and ensure seamless hybrid integration. • Ensure secure, resilient, and scalable collaboration across global systems.
Operational Excellence & Workplace Technology • Ensure global availability, performance, and resilience of networks, data centres, cloud services, and O365 platforms. • Manage office technology setup, relocations, and decommissioning, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business impact. • Oversee capacity planning, lifecycle management, and global disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
Security & Compliance • Partner with Information Security to enforce compliance with ISO, SOC2, GDPR, and other global standards. • Apply robust governance and security policies across identity, cloud, and collaboration platforms. • Regularly test DR, backup, and resilience strategies across infrastructure and O365 workloads.
People & Vendor Management • Lead, mentor, and inspire a globally dispersed team of engineers, network, and identity specialists. • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs for infrastructure, O365, and cloud services. • Oversee budgets, licensing, and cost optimization across data centre, cloud, and collaboration platforms.
Qualifications & Experience • 10+ years in IT infrastructure leadership, including managing global teams. • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (O365) applications and services. • Proven experience in Azure AD tenant management, identity governance, and consolidation. • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, hybrid IT, enterprise networking, and modern data centre operations. • Experience leading automation and AI adoption initiatives within IT infrastructure. • Background in office technology setup, relocations, and decommissioning projects. • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks and infrastructure automation. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
