The
Environmental Scientist - Project Manager
- will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with Texas regulations and client expectations. This role requires minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in environmental remediation, strong leadership skills, and technical expertise in soil and groundwater cleanup, risk assessment, and regulatory coordination.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
7 years of direct experience in environmental consulting in Texas.
In-depth knowledge of Texas environmental regulations, including TCEQ, TRRC guidelines.
Proven experience managing complex remediation projects.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Ability to lift 45+ pounds, walk long distances and work in various weather and terrain conditions
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites across Texas.
Qualifications
Professional licensure (e.g., PG, PE, CHMM, TCEQ CAPM).
HAZWOPER 40-hour certification.
Experience with risk-based corrective action and groundwater modeling.
Familiarity with Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) and Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP).
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and conduct environmental remediation - corrective action projects from proposal to
completion.
Develop and implement remediation strategies in compliance with TCEQ, Railroad Commission of Texas, and other regulatory agencies.(e.g., risk based corrective action, in-situ chemical oxidation, bioremediation).
Prepare proposals, reports, and invoices, and coordinate project staff and resources.
Prepare technical reports including CSMs, CAPs, and RACRs.
Ensure compliance with TRRP, RCRA, CERCLA, and other regulatory frameworks.
Oversee field investigations, sampling plans, and remediation system installations.
Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
Compensation Package:

Some paid overtime
Schedule:
8–10-hour shift regularly and as needed
Monday to Friday
Some Weekends as needed
Holidays in the event of an emergency
