Inventory Control Analyst, Logistics
Location: Hayward, CA (on-site)
About 1X We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance.
Role Summary Maintain accuracy and reliability of inventory data across 1X's operations. This role ensures materials are properly tracked, analyzed, and reported to support manufacturing, logistics, and leadership decisions.
Key Responsibilities Manage daily and global cycle counts, reconcile variances, and track performance metrics. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through audits and WIP reconciliation. Maintain ABC classification and other inventory control methodologies. Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for inventory issues. Coordinate material disposition and manage scrap, including IP and hazardous items. Publish monthly reports on inventory health, adjustments, and trends. Build dashboards and analytics in Power BI or Tableau. Manage inventory actions related to Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Track excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory and lead shrinkage reduction efforts. Support ad hoc analysis and continuous improvement of inventory systems. 5-7 years of experience in inventory analysis, logistics, or manufacturing. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain preferred. Experience in dynamic manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, or electronics a plus). Skilled in cycle counting, ABC classification, and variance analysis. Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficient in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Odoo). Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Willingness to travel to warehouses or production sites as needed. APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
