The Research and Technology plot system demonstrates the agronomic benefits of key input products-such as fertilizers, crop protection solutions, and value-added inputs-to support the Agtegra Agronomy sales team. The Research & Technology & Seed Plot Intern will assist with spring seed supply logistics, as well as the planting, management, and maintenance of research and demonstration plots and trials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the implementation and management of research and technology plots and trials. Assist in the fertilizing, planting, mowing, tilling, and plot signing of the research and technology plot systems. Responsible for data collection of plots including evaluating new products, pictures, stand counts, field notes, etc. Assist in collecting field samples and setting up displays for field plot tours for agronomists and general public. Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Enrollment towards relevant business or agronomy degree. Farm experience and experience operating farm equipment is preferred. Commercial pesticide applicator license or the interest to obtain one is highly desired. Training and support to obtain a SD Commercial Pesticide Applicator License will be provided. Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Must be 18 years or older. English proficiency. Valid Driver's License.
