high-impact Automation/Controls Engineer
to join a leading U.S. manufacturer driving large-scale modernization and automation initiatives. This position plays a pivotal role in transforming a 24/7 industrial production environment through innovation, safety, and next-generation electrical control systems.

What You'll Do:
Lead, design, and support plant automation projects across electrical, controls, and process systems. Program and troubleshoot
Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems . Collaborate closely with plant leadership and maintenance to drive
process efficiency, quality, and reliability . Identify and implement automation upgrades to replace legacy systems. Partner with cross-functional teams on infrastructure, security access, and plant IT integration. Serve as a key technical resource on a
major 18-month, $15M automation initiative
and ongoing modernization efforts. Maintain documentation, compliance, and proactive safety standards under
NFPA 70E . What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree
in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. 3+ years
of experience in control systems engineering within a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency with
Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI applications
and enterprise-level communication systems. Strong knowledge of
VFDs, servos, and robotic platforms
(ABB, Fanuc). Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex control issues quickly and safely. Excellent collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience with
Cognex Vision Systems, Wonderware, Genetec ,
AutoCAD , and
