Job Details: Location : F&M Campus - Lancaster, PA Classification : Full-time, Non-Exempt Schedule : 35 hours, Monday - Friday. Reports to : Director of Advancement Information Systems & Services Department : College Advancement Approved Hourly Rate : $20.14/hour Job Description:
The Gifts & Records Specialist is responsible for accurately entering/maintaining alumni and donor information in databases and files; process gifts received by the College; respond to requests for information; conduct research to locate "lost" alumni; produce acknowledgement letters, receipts and pledge reminders. This position will also provide administrative support for other areas of the division when necessary.
Essential Functions:
Verify, enter, and maintain biographical and gift information in the Advancement database from a variety of sources. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks:
charge credit cards reconcile gift information complete bank deposits verify gifts for company matching gifts
Produce accurate, timely, and attractive acknowledgement letters, receipts, and pledge reminders. All other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. At least one year of relevant professional work experience in an office setting. Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive). Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively to achieve departmental goals and to provide excellent service to internal and external constituents. Ability to be an ambassador of the College, its mission and College Advancement. Evidence of a commitment to community and belonging. Successful interview. Successful completion of background checks. Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Prior experience in a Higher Education setting.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of reference checks, a criminal background verification, and verification of credentials. The College will coordinate these verifications.
