Geotechnical Engineering Specialist
STV Inc, is looking for a Full-Time Geotechnical Engineering Specialist out of our Glasgow, KY or Franklin, TN locations. This position is an entry-level position for graduate engineers recently entering the work force. Under close and frequent supervision, incumbent assists Engineers by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company. Responsibilities and Duties Assimilation of Geotechnical Reports Supervision of Drill Crew on routine projects and more complex projects as experience increases Assist with Mineral Reserve Studies Qualifications and Skills 4 Year degree from accredited institution in Engineering Additional consideration for masters or other advanced degrees Prefer - Pursuing Engineer in Training Certificate or Professional Engineer Licensure for a current EIT Ability to lift 50 pounds 50 times per day. Occasionally required to lift 150 pounds (about once a week). Work will typically occur in all types of weather and around significant construction equipment with exposure to dirt, grease, oils, etc. Walking over various types of terrain is required such as low lying swampy areas to mountainous, rugged terrain. Significant time spent bending or kneeling during each day. Most drilling operations require out of town stays Compensation Range: $55,584.50 - $74,112.66 Don't meet every single requirement?
