is seeking a
Director of Homeownership Services
to lead our homeownership and housing counseling programs - helping residents build financial stability and stronger neighborhoods.
As a member of our leadership team, you'll oversee a talented staff delivering HUD-certified counseling, homebuyer education, and foreclosure prevention programs. You'll shape strategy, strengthen partnerships, manage budgets, and ensure our programs continue to grow sustainably and equitably.
This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership - and who believes that safe, affordable housing changes lives.
What You'll Do
Lead and expand NWNEPA's homeownership and housing counseling services.
Manage and coach staff, AmeriCorps members, and consultants delivering community programs.
Build partnerships with lenders, government agencies, and local organizations.
Oversee budgets, grants, and compliance for federal and state-funded initiatives.
Drive outreach and engagement to promote homeownership opportunities across Northeastern PA.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in housing counseling, mortgage lending, or community development.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Knowledge of HUD housing programs and homebuyer education standards.
Proven experience managing grants and program reporting.
HUD Housing Counselor certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
