RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide test and manufacturing support for components of the ring laser gyro product line • Analyze current process controls for optical components and develop additional methods to measure and control manufacturing processes. • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices. • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis. • Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions. • Assist development of new products. • Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow. • Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals. • Test products & software
MUST HAVE: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Optics, Physics, or Mathematics • 5+ years experience
in optics manufacturing, optical metrology, optics engineering degrees.
