The California Achieving a Better Life Experience Act Board (CalABLE) is the state's savings program for the disability community. CalABLE is looking for a new member of the team to advance its mission and best support Californians with disabilities.
The AGPA will play a hands-on role in helping individuals and families build financial security and greater independence. The AGPA will connect with community partners, develop new materials, make presentations, and serve Californians with disabilities.
On January 1, 2026, eligibility will expand to includes hundreds of thousands of additional persons with disabilities. The AGPA will be instrumental in helping CalABLE support these individuals and ensure they have access to a critical service for their financial and personal wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for disability rights and supporting people with disabilities. Personal or professional academic experience with disability issues is a plus, but not required.
