Position Overview: We are seeking a talented SEO Strategy Manager to drive organic traffic growth and enhance SERP rankings for our diverse client portfolio. In this role, you will take charge of researching, designing, and implementing SEO programs, ensuring the optimization of site architecture, keyword selection, and scalable content strategies. A thorough understanding of SEO best practices is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. You will collaborate closely with our teams of SEO Content Writers, Web Designers, Web Developers, and Social Media Specialists, fostering teamwork to achieve common goals. Additionally, you will oversee third-party partnerships to fulfill additional SEO tasks. To succeed in this position, you must have a keen eye for detail and be skilled in analyzing performance data. Keeping up to date with emerging SEO trends and industry shifts will be crucial for maintaining the effectiveness of our SEO programs. Responsibilities: Keyword Research & Tracking: Conduct in-depth keyword research using client-provided priorities. Identify high-potential keywords to drive organic traffic. Organize keyword data for easy filtering and assignment to specific URLs. Monitor and audit keyword tracking to ensure ongoing effectiveness. SEO Program Audits: Evaluate the performance of existing SEO programs. Analyze successes and failures compared to similar programs. Draft reports to recommend strategic improvements. Create compelling SEO proposals for prospective and existing clients. Utilize competitor data to uncover organic growth opportunities. Manage SEO program designs within budget limitations for optimal value. Team Coordination: Ensure seamless execution of monthly SEO deliverables by all involved teams. Provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance on SEO tasks. Technical SEO Maintenance: Identify and address technical issues using tools like Search Console. Optimize client location data through accurate NAP management. Conduct audits to refine listings and improve visibility. Competitor Analysis: Research competitor strategies to highlight potential organic opportunities. Monitor key metrics such as Domain Authority and ranking of client websites. Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate new SEO strategies. Participate in client calls to communicate SEO strategy and progress. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Demonstrable knowledge of local SEO strategies and ranking factors. Proficient in keyword research tools, such as SEMrush and SERanking. Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Adept at analyzing website performance against client objectives. Strong time management abilities to meet tight deadlines. A proactive approach to learning and enhancing SEO skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: Understanding of data's impact on SEO. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Familiarity with structured data and Schema.org. Awareness of challenges faced by SMBs in the industry. Experience managing social media platforms, including Google Business Profile. Link building expertise. Work Environment: This hybrid-remote position requires at least three days a week in our West Town office.
