Summary: We are seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring our imports and exports adhere to global trade regulations and our internal Compliance standards. Your expertise will guide activities before shipment, including transactional entry aligned with Customs, Health Authorities, and export agency requirements. You will collaborate with various teams, including Logistics, Transportation, and Clinical Operations, to address and resolve shipment-specific challenges effectively. Responsibilities: Support the deployment of our Compliance strategic goals, aligning with business objectives. Monitor global imports or exports requiring additional licenses or permits, ensuring compliance for shipments managed by our suppliers and vendors. Review and validate shipping request information and documents against our compliance standards and local practices. Complete all necessary trade attributes in our Global Trade Management system for compliant import and export operations. Collaborate with the GTC Center of Excellence to obtain HTS classifications and FDA Product Code assignments when necessary. Uphold our Trade Operations Standard Business Practices in line with Global Trade Compliance policies. Influence external stakeholders to adhere to established trade practices and procedures. Assist U.S. and potentially global shipping sites in overcoming transaction-related challenges. Contribute to special projects related to international trade as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher preferred. Trade-related certification or Customs Broker License is desirable. 5-7 years of logistics experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in international trade. Strong experience with Foreign Trade Zones. Comprehensive knowledge of Customs and relevant government agency regulations regarding import/export. Experience working with international companies, suppliers, and logistics carriers. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word). Experience using global trade management systems like SAP GTS or similar is a plus. Proficient in English. Solid project management and communication skills, both written and spoken. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to maintain high performance while managing a high volume of work. Awareness and appreciation of diversity.
