Oxford Solutions is recruiting for a Senior Payroll Manager to join an international law firm that provides innovative legal solutions to many of the world's leading financial institutions and Fortune Global 500 companies. This position requires a highly experienced payroll professional to oversee all U.S. payroll operations in a complex, multi-jurisdiction environment.

The Senior Payroll Manager is responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, while leading a team and collaborating with cross-functional departments to support firm-wide compensation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage payroll processing across all U.S. offices, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Manage complex compensation structures, including bonuses, overtime, and special payments for attorneys and professional staff. Ensure payroll tax filings and reporting are accurate and completed on time. Supervise and develop payroll team members, promoting professional growth and high performance. Recommend process improvements and software enhancements to optimize payroll operations. Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and internal policies. Partner with internal and external auditors to maintain audit readiness. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to align payroll with compensation and benefit programs. Provide payroll reporting and analytics to support leadership and financial planning. Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity in all payroll processes. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 8-10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 3-5 years in a management role. Experience with multi-state payroll in a large, multi-office organization; professional services or law firm experience preferred. CPP certification preferred. Expertise in payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance practices. Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or UKG; experience with Workday Payroll Integration a plus. Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to accuracy and service excellence.
