Job Description Job Description Quality Control Inspector – $17 to $18/hr DOE This is a contract position with the opportunity to be hired full-time. Location: LaPorte, 77571 Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Environment: Pipe Yard Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our partner, a leading distributor of pipes, fittings, valves, and flanges (PVF). This position requires hands-on experience inspecting pipes and other PVF products. PVF Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections on inbound and outbound pipes and PVF products to ensure they meet technical specifications. Utilize calipers, micrometers, tape measures, height gauges, and NPT threaded gauges for precision inspections. Implement and refine quality control procedures to maintain and enhance quality standards. Conduct routine visual inspections to identify defects or non-conformance issues. Accurately record inspection results and maintain data records. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. PVF Quality Control Inspector Qualifications and Skills Minimum of two years of experience in quality control, specifically inspecting pipes and PVF materials. Forklift operation experience is a plus. Ability to interpret product specifications and perform accurate measurements. Basic math skills to calculate measurements and tolerances. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with SharePoint is a bonus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy. Clear written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with the team. Physical Requirements Regularly required to use hands to handle, measure, or inspect materials.
