Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant

Overview
The Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant will join a project team responsible for implementing and configuring Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions for an enterprise customer base. This role is both functional and customer-facing. You'll work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, shape solutions, and ensure delivery that is fit for purpose and commercially viable. You'll also provide guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Configure Workday Time Tracking and Absence in alignment with customer requirements and best practices. Participate in or lead customer working sessions to gather requirements, clarify business rules, and translate them into configuration. dvise stakeholders on options, impacts, and recommended approaches. Support end-to-end testing, issue resolution, and defect triage related to Time and Absence. Produce project documentation (configuration workbooks, decision logs, testing evidence). Communicate status, risks, and blockers in a clear, timely way. Mentor less experienced team members and share functional knowledge. Qualifications
Hands-on Workday configuration experience in Time Tracking and Absence. Strong understanding of accruals, eligibility rules, time entry rules, time calculation rules, and leave/absence plans. bility to interpret complex policy requirements and translate them into scalable configuration. Experience supporting Workday deployments or enhancements in a consulting or in-house role. bility to work in a fast-paced project environment with minimal oversight. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Launch / Launch Express methodology (preferred).
