Job Description Job Description Job Title: CMM Technician Job Description We are seeking multiple skilled CMM Technicians to join an Aerospace contractor located in Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time employment opportunity for those interested in working in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment. Responsibilities Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with proficiency in GD&T. Perform first article inspections and utilize laser trackers for precision measurement. Execute or witness test procedures and generate comprehensive test reports. Interpret and analyze drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications to prepare inspection reports. Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, Certificates of Conformance, and Non-Conformance Reports. Maintain compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. 4 or more years of experience with Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, and Leica Laser Trackers. Fluency in GD&T. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. US Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret Clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Spatial Analyzer or similar PCMM software is preferred. Experience in the inspection of complex aerospace hardware and non-conforming materials. Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems and AS5553 counterfeit prevention. Capacity to lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Why Work Here?
