Requirements:
background in carpentry/framing
ability to read blueprints - structurals, architectural details, floor plans, plumbing and electrical plans
5+ years experience in supervising construction projects from start to finish, remodels and new construction
reliable transportation within, primarily, Southern Orange County
On-site Construction Foreman to oversee the construction process. Responsibilities include overseeing overall construction activities within the established design, budget and scheduling guidelines. This can include planning and scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling activities on the construction site. Attention to detail and ability for both forward-planning and reverse thinking to drive the project and ensure client satisfaction is paramount.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
5+ years experience as Construction Foreman () PLUS 5+ years experience directly in the Carpentry/Framing (required)
Excellent communication skills at all levels – from company to subcontractor to client.
Manage functions of the job site(s) as it relates to project construction with great customer service.
Strong understanding of the construction trades and how construction projects unfold. Participate in scheduling all involved subcontractors for each phase of development and construction.
Plan, schedule, organize, and direct construction projects from start to finish according to schedule and project specifications.
Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
Oversee day-to-day field activities.
Supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
Verify all checklists are completed and inspections are scheduled and passed.
Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures.
Consideration of client vision to seek out opportunities to improve the final product.
Keen attention to assuring each part of the project has been completed and work-flow remains efficient.
Promote collaboration and creating an environment of trust and open communication.
Identify and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of projects under construction.
Monitor project site cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.
Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors, owners, property management companies, city officials and inspectors.
Deliver each project on schedule from planning through completion; ensure that all contract obligations are satisfied with clients’ satisfaction.
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.

Ability to focus on the “big picture” while tracking small project details and balancing client vision to create value on the project
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Aptitude in math and SAE measurements

Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business needs.

Ability to commute between jobsites as required.
