Construction Engineer
Work Location : Billings, MT
Pay range : $20.00 - $21.00/hour (first year interns $20.00/hour, returning interns $21.00/hour)
Employment Status:
Temporary (May - August full-time, 40 hours per week)

About this position:
will support our construction engineers but would also be exposed to the operations. They will shadow the construction engineers and operations supervisors and assist with various tasks and residential and commercial construction projects. There will also be an opportunity to spend time with a serviceman and crews to develop an understanding of the utility work and safety practices.
About this job:
Support engineers in design of electric and natural gas facilities for new construction, relocates, and capacity projects
Work with new service requests, assist in providing services, checking site locations ahead of crew for efficiencies
Assist customers with NWE's New Construction process
Work with customers on growth orders and construction estimates
Research Company records on vintage gas pipe to determine replacement plans
Work on infrastructure mapping/GIS information to improve data
Participate in organizational work meetings
Lifting of materials up to 35 pounds

Engineer major required
Valid driver's license & satisfactory driving record
Student must have completed Freshman level or higher by start date
Must be in good academic standing
Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
Must possess strong customer service and computer technology problem resolution skills
