This role will support the USAF Sentinel Program Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase by preparing engineering studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.
This is an onsite position at Hill Air Force Base, just outside Salt Lake City, UT.
Full time presence on project is required.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare 2-D CAD Intelligent Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) based on sketches and marked up prints.
Review drawings and documents prepared by others to ensure incorporation of drafting standards, procedures, discipline standards, and other standards, as required.
Responsible for data integrity of components list.
Execute schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.
Education / Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
Proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
Prior experience with industry-wide design/drafting tools such as
AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, PDS2D, PDS3D, Smartplant P&ID Component Databases.
Experience working in a project team environment to resolve issues and improve processes.
Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and organizational skills.
