Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks for customer-facing web applications.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in full-stack testing, automation tools, and Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test strategies, scenarios, and steps for both automated and manual testing. Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, story refinement sessions, and sprint planning. Manage QA activities throughout the Agile development lifecycle. Provide subject matter expertise and recommend best practices for test automation and framework selection. Drive automation efficiency and effectiveness using modern tools and techniques. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all test and production environments. Collaborate with development teams to define valid test approaches and scenarios. Conduct performance testing (load, stress, scalability, spike, volume, endurance/soak). Monitor application logs using tools such as Datadog and Splunk. Develop and maintain virtual services or mock APIs. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and integration using tools like Jenkins and Artifactory. Analyze and communicate test results using various reporting tools. Foster a quality-first mindset and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in IT application development and test automation. Strong object-oriented design and coding skills. Hands-on experience with: Full-stack testing (Angular, Java, SOAP, REST) Playwright, Selenium, Selenium Grid TestNG and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Serenity, Cypress) Web service testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Karate, Postman, Rest-assured, Insomnia) SQL and database validation Testing applications in both on-premise and cloud environments (e.g., AWS) Developing and maintaining virtual services or mock APIs CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jenkins Core, Artifactory) Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk) Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the financial services industry. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
