Position Overview
The Project Manager leads clients, design teams, engineers, and trades through the full building process. This person is responsible for ensuring every phase-from planning and permitting to finish work and final handoff-is executed on schedule, on budget, and to the highest level of quality.
You'll oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate multiple trades, and serve as the central point of communication between ownership, clients, architects, and subcontractors. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership, and diplomacy-the ability to manage complexity while maintaining clarity and calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of high-end residential construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. Collaborate with architects, designers, clients, and trade partners to ensure seamless project execution. Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. Lead project meetings, document progress, and maintain open, timely communication with all stakeholders. Coordinate permitting, inspections, and approvals with local building officials. Review plans and specifications; anticipate design and construction challenges. Manage job costing, forecasting, invoicing, and payment applications. Ensure the highest standards of site safety, cleanliness, and professionalism. Track submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and material procurement. Maintain accountability for all deliverables-quality, cost, and client satisfaction. Support and mentor project team members and field staff. Desired Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience managing high-end residential or custom renovation projects. Deep understanding of building trades, sequencing, and fine craftsmanship. Strong communication and leadership skills-comfortable interfacing with clients, architects, and trade partners. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent priorities. Familiarity with permitting processes and building codes in Massachusetts. Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and project management software (Procore or similar). Calm, confident demeanor-able to manage both detail and big picture with equal care. Commitment to integrity, excellence, and a collaborative team culture. What's Offered
Opportunity to manage sophisticated residential projects with a builder that values craftsmanship and client experience. A culture rooted in collaboration, respect, and long-term relationships. Competitive compensation and benefits package. Stable workload with a company known for its repeat clients and design-partner relationships. Genuine pride in the work you'll deliver-homes that stand out for their quality, not their size.
