Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.

Summary: The purpose of this position is to work in coordination with Project Director to oversee the operation and management of the Fatherhood Connection Project within the Vocational services department. This position will assist in the planning, implementation, evaluation and daily operation of the program. This position will facilitate Fatherhood groups. Will complete major functions: program management, staff development, staff training, building community partnerships, and marketing outreach activities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Program Management

Assist in providing programmatic directions to staff assigned to the Fatherhood Connect Project. Assures the organization's administrative philosophy, mission, and vision is carried out. Assist in providing supervision to assigned staff in accordance with Zepf's policies and procedures. Completes performance evaluations as required, providing feedback on performance. May approves time sheets and time off requests. Develop monitors and assure that Fatherhood Connect Project departmental goals and objectives are achieved. Monitors utilization of programs and develop strategies to assure optimal utilization. Assures utilization is consistent with staffing and budgets. Recommends adjustments and approaches referral sources when indicated as actual projected utilization figures change. Assist in recruiting for staff vacancies in assigned positions. Makes recommendations for personnel actions. Assured use all other positions, including intermittent/contingency staff within the department, follow the same process. Meets with Federal Project Officer on a regular basis to review program outcomes and program service models Assures program is achieving stated goals and objectives Assures agency and federal regulations and guidelines are followed, e.g. CARF and. Establishes procedures when deemed necessary to meet these requirements. Staff Development

Implements a well-defined staff development plan to assure staff skills and knowledge are developed to meet program outcomes and assist the clients improve overall functioning Provides training to staff in various aspects of operation including documenting services provided, inputting data into databases, completing assessment of needs, developing treatment/action plans, facilitating groups, individual intervention and working as part of integrated team Data Management Review

Uses data in team and individual supervision meetings to show progress toward goals and discuss performance expectations Develops an excellent understanding of the Federal nForm data system to monitors staff inputs, assure data accuracy and develops useful reports needed in the management of the program Community Partnerships

Promote and maintain positive relationships with all referral agencies, as well as other social service agencies. Community advocate and involvement for client recovery needs and services Serve as a liaison to training providers and community agencies on FORGE Project services Organizes and facilitates partner Alumni Meetings to provide guidance on how to implement recommended service enhancements. Participating in community activities and meetings that promote responsible parenting and workforce development of clients Marketing and Outreach

May coordinate with Zepf Marketing team in developing a comprehensive marketing strategy that follows Zepf polices while also helping in the recruitment and retention of program clients Will attain approval from Federal Project officer on all marketing material pertaining to program Works closely with management staff to integrate Fatherhood Connects Project vocational services, into the care coordination of Zepf Center clients when applicable to that client's situation. This includes attending team meetings, training vocational staff on outreach, as well as implementing appropriate documentation protocol for the clients that receive services from staff. Attends outreach events in the community that promotes the program and facilitates service coordination Assessment & Case Management

Conduct comprehensive barrier assessments for each participant at enrollment. Develop, monitor, and update Individual Service Strategies (ISS) and Career Plans with each participant. Provide intensive case management, vocational guidance, job coaching, and service coordination. Advocate on behalf of fathers to help navigate employment, legal, and family-related systems, including child support and custody. Facilitation & Skill Building

Facilitate and/or manage process of

Nurturing Fathers Curriculum

groups and one-on-one sessions, maintaining fidelity to the evidence-based model. Facilitate and/or manage process of

Fatherhood 101 Seminars

and workshops focused on employment readiness, parenting skills, and life management. Other Duties

Participate in assigned agency committee meetings. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure department success. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Service, Healthcare, Education and/or related degree; May consider individuals with High School Graduate with a combination of some college course work and two years of Social Service and Behavioral Health experience Two years minimum related experience in one of the following occupational areas: social service, behavioral health, workforce development and /or related experience One year of supervisory experience with progressive increase in duties Experience working with budgets and personnel management Excellent computer skills
