Role Highlights Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment strategies focused on achieving both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing issues. Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to enhance and support the patient's care plan. Equip patients and their families with resources and education to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional speech therapy evaluations and interventions in an inpatient setting to offer seamless care throughout the therapeutic process. Maintain prompt and precise documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational standards. Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified. Licensure and Certifications
Current state licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred certification as a Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Key Skills
