The Accounts Payable Analyst – Global Operations & Analytics plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy,
efficiency, and integrity of the company’s accounts payable function during a time of global transformation.
While based domestically, this position operates at the intersection of finance operations and international
collaboration, supporting the transition of AP activities to an overseas shared services center.
Working within a highly automated environment powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365, ExFlow, ReadSoft, and
Freshdesk, the analyst is responsible for overseeing invoice processing workflows, ensuring seamless vendor
communication, and maintaining data accuracy across systems. Beyond transactional processing, the role is
deeply analytical—monitoring key performance indicators, identifying both operational and system issues
through exception reporting and trends and providing insights that drive continuous improvement.
As the primary NAM domestic liaison to the offshore AP team, the analyst ensures alignment on processes,
quality standards, and service levels. This role also contributes to month-end close activities, supports
compliance efforts and plays a key part in shaping a data-driven, globally integrated AP function.
⠀ What you’ll do:
The Accounts Payable Analyst – Global Operations & Analytics will be a key support to the Accounting Management and Finance teams globally.
Act as the domestic point of contact for the overseas AP shared services team
Address inquiries/exceptions regarding invoice intake and validation using ReadSoft for OCR and ExFlow for automated PO/invoice matching within D365
Address communications and internal requests via Freshdesk as assigned by Shared Servies team, ensuring timely resolution and system optimization
Initiate communications for AP operational issues that are brought to team member from Vendors or Operations teams
Collaborate with IT and Accounting leadership to enhance automation workflows and system functionality
Analyze AP KPIs such as invoice cycle time, match rate, exception rate, and aged payables · Assist in tracking and clean-up of GRNI
Prepare journal entries and monthly AP account reconciliations for month-end close
Support year-end audit processes and provide documentation as needed
Participate in system testing and process documentation efforts
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
What you'll need:
Experience / Training / Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
3–5 years of AP experience, preferably in a global or shared services environment
Knowledge of
Advanced Excel Skills
Windows operating environment and MS Office products
ERP Accounting software
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
Strong understanding of GAAP and AP processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, ExFlow, ReadSoft, and Freshdesk preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
The current range for this hybrid role based in Aliso Viejo, CA is $70,000.00/yr. - $80,000.00/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
