Job Summary: Our LOE program delivers the best operational solutions to meet our customers' mission needs through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research. We focus on innovative visualizations and analytic development, continuously pushing boundaries to find better data sources and tradecraft for intelligence questions. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Linux System Administrator for a dynamic team that provides comprehensive software, systems, and network engineering services to support Integrated Discovery Operations (IDO). In this role, you will lead, evolve, and maintain a modern DevOps architecture, primarily utilizing open-source technologies. You will support software developers, manage phased system upgrades, and make compliance improvements, all the while enhancing availability, reliability, reducing latency, and optimizing performance while maintaining security standards. Job Responsibilities/Qualifications: Mission Focus : Design, maintain, and support operations and maintenance (O&M) of a large enclave comprised of diverse hardware, software, and network components. Lead strategies to efficiently migrate existing customers to new architecture. Technical Proficiency : Administer networks by installing, configuring, and maintaining devices; configure routing protocols, troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues; set up firewalls; ensure a secure infrastructure and perform vulnerability corrections. Provide end-user support, collaborating effectively with system-savvy developers and analysts to resolve issues related to networks, computers, and virtual systems. Maintain documentation, including network diagrams and system configurations; provide monthly activity reports detailing system outages. Experience with deploying and maintaining nginx; system monitoring platforms such as OpenVAS, Prometheus, and Grafana; familiarity with SELinux and FIPS. Working knowledge of LatteArt/Biscotti, Netseer, and SEAR logging. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree with 11-15 years of relevant systems administration experience or equivalent. Security Clearance : Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for consideration. Desirable Skills : Proficiency in Docker, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Ansible, GitLab, and RedHat Satellite.
