Description Conduct assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients employing established evaluation techniques and observational insights. Create tailored treatment plans focused on specific short- and long-term goals addressing communication, cognitive, or swallowing issues. Deliver individualized speech therapy targeted at improving communication abilities, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functionality. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to design unified care strategies. Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress outside the clinical setting. Participate in occasional evaluations and interventions for inpatient speech therapy, ensuring smooth continuity of care throughout the recovery process. Maintain meticulous documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in continuous professional development and peer collaborations to stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. BLS certification is required within 30 days upon joining. Skills
