In the role of Healthcare Contract Specialist, you will play a critical part in expanding and sustaining Astiva Health's provider network. You will lead contract negotiations, cultivate strategic partnerships, and ensure compliance with regulatory and member requirements. This position combines analytical skills with relationship management, ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Draft, revise, and manage contracts with Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), hospitals, and ancillary providers. Communicate reimbursement methodologies and adeptly negotiate terms with provider partners. Lead initiatives for provider recruitment and orientation to enhance network adequacy. Monitor billing trends, access challenges, and utilization data to guide strategic decisions. Collaborate with leadership to resolve issues and advance strategic initiatives. Propose enhancements to contracting systems and workflows. Ensure compliance across all programs and provider partnerships. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience. 5+ years' experience in a contracting role within a Health Plan, IPA/Medical Group, or Management Services Organization (MSO). Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of Medicare reimbursement models. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and poise.
