Join Our Team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician! At Kwik Trip, Inc., we are seeking a skilled and versatile Electro-Mechanical Technician to become a part of our dynamic Dairy Department. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining and troubleshooting advanced automated process systems within our modern dairy facility. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out preventative maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment function. Collaborating effectively with operators and management to enhance operational efficiency. Responding promptly to emergencies and performing necessary maintenance as issues arise. Coordinating with vendors for timely repairs and services. Regularly inspecting facilities and equipment to maintain safety and functionality. Qualifications we are looking for: A minimum of 2 years of automation experience and/or relevant training. Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLCs and associated control devices. Strong background in industrial electronics and mechanical systems. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Willingness to learn and perform a diverse range of tasks. Competency in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively. Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals accurately. Proficient with hand and power tools; welding experience is an asset. Commitment to maintaining safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations. Familiarity with standard practices in the dairy industry is a plus. Physical Requirements: Stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift. Bend, reach, twist, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently. Lift and carry 50 pounds regularly; lift and carry up to 80 pounds occasionally. Work Schedule: - Enjoy an overnight premium of $2.00 for shifts from 8pm to 6am. - Benefit from a weekend premium of $4.00 for shifts from Friday 7:30pm to Monday 6:59am. - Work a structured 40-hour week consisting of 10-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am with rotating scheduled days every two weeks.
