Description Thoroughly evaluate patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, employing standardized assessments and observation techniques. Create individualized treatment plans tailored to short-term goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Offer personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage in collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise cohesive care strategies. Deliver essential patient and family education that supports progress outside of clinical sessions. Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations. Remain informed about the latest advancements in the field through continuous education and peer collaboration. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications

Valid state licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining. Skills

Expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches across all age groups, with a deep understanding of the nuances involved in developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and cross-functional care teams. Adeptness in modifying therapy techniques to address varied cultural and linguistic needs. Strong clinical judgment, complemented by problem-solving capabilities.
