The Basics:
We're seeking a motivated individual to lead the Packaging & Pricing function in the Finance & Operations team at Tanium. You are a strategic problem solver with high operational excellence, thrive at building monetization strategies for SaaS IT Operations, Security and Risk products, and enjoy a fast-paced & high-growth environment. Your role will be pivotal in creating strategy and delivering on long-term growth for our products by working cross functionally and aligning on needs from varying parts of the business. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role that will partner cross functionally to turn ideas into clean SKUs and measurable revenue and margin outcomes.
This position follows the Company's hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
What you'll do: Partner with the product team to identify & prioritize products & offers to be packaged and priced Lead pricing & packaging programs including the Pricing Committee to increase revenue and growth, capitalize on strengths and mitigate challenges for products Deliver programs from concept to test, and to launch, owning every step along the way driving consensus from multiple teams Own the global price book and SKU lifecycle end-to-end across Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite, ensuring data quality, approvals, revenue/tax compliance, and downstream order accuracy. Drive the intake, scoping, testing, and launch of new/changed SKUs and bundles; establish change controls, defect triage, and rollback plans. Build enablement materials and FAQs; run field/partner communications; deliver quarterly updates on price-book changes and what's next. Provide expertise to teams on pricing metrics, pricing & packaging strategies and frameworks. Ensure consistency across the entire product portfolio Orchestrate alignment across Product, Finance (FP&A, RevRec & Tax), Legal, Deal Desk, Order Ops, Sales Systems etc to land changes cleanly in the field. We're looking for someone with:
5+ years in pricing/packaging/monetization for enterprise SaaS (ideally IT Ops/Security/Risk). Demonstrated success running pricing operations (price book, SKU governance, approvals) and partnering across Quote-to-Cash. Hands-on expertise with Salesforce/CPQ and ERP (e.g., NetSuite) plus Excel/Sheets; working SQL/BI skills a plus. Finance/data-analytics background and MBA is a plus Customer focused, seeking a deep understanding of target users and are adept at understanding their problems and arriving at elegant solutions to those problems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management; you drive decisions and progress across varied teams and constraints. Self-directed, highly motivated to deliver discernible impact on the business. Have business planning acumen and an insatiable appetite for data and insights You possess excellent ability to prioritize independently, overcome blockers, create clarity and move forward even in ambiguous circumstances

What you'll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $79,500 to $238,500. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
