Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven professional with a passion for special events to manage the sales and booking process for events ranging from small birthday parties to large corporate functions and convention exhibitions.
The Event Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue by generating leads, securing bookings, and managing all contract and payment processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries and follow up within 24 hours. Actively promote and sell venue space, event packages, and services to meet and exceed revenue targets. Generate new event leads through cold outreach including cold calling, emails, and networking. Monitor third-party venue listings and follow up on RFPs. Conduct client site tours and presentations, showcasing facilities and offerings. Prepare and manage proposals, pricing, contracts, and payment schedules in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with catering department to ensure menu selections meet client needs. Accurately record customer data and booking details in event management software. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Represent the venue at networking events, trade shows, and community functions to generate new leads. Collaborate with leadership to develop sales strategies, forecasts, and promotional opportunities. Track sales performance and provide reports on bookings, pipeline activity, and revenue progress. Collaborate with event coordination team to ensure event prepation and execution meets company standards and exceeds client expectations. Other Duties:

Requirements/Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in event sales, catering sales, hotel sales, or within an entertainment/venue setting. Experience with sales and event management softwares like Reserve, Tripleseat, and Cvent are a plus. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to consistently achieve sales goals and manage client accounts effectively. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Professional interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone. Bilingual (Spanish preferred). Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on client needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to move about the facility for tours and presentations. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds when assisting with materials or client visits.
