Plumbing Estimator – Commercial Mechanical Contractor About the Job - Plumbing Estimator: We are hiring a Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team in the Kansas City Metro. This position plays a key role in our preconstruction department, focusing on plumbing take-offs, spec and drawing reviews, and preparing bid recaps. If you have estimating experience and want to grow with a respected mechanical contractor, we want to talk with you. Fast Estimating software experience is a big plus but not required — we’ll train the right person. What You’ll Do as a Plumbing Estimator: Perform plumbing take-offs for commercial construction projects Review plans, drawings, and specifications for scope accuracy Enter quantities and pricing into plumbing bid recaps Work with estimators, project managers, and vendors to ensure complete bids Compare and analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing Stay organized with estimating files and project documentation What We’re Looking For in a Plumbing Estimator: Previous plumbing or mechanical estimating experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Fast Estimating experience is a plus) Team-oriented, eager to learn, and open to career growth Why Join Us as Plumbing Estimator: Competitive pay package Employer-paid health benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities with a stable, local mechanical contractor \#IND1

Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 per year
