is looking for passionate volunteers to assist the Garden and Food Justice Coordinator in our Clubs gardens. As a garden volunteer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our Club Garden. This opportunity to learn more about plants and foster a sense of community through gardening activities. Choice of four club gardens located throughout the county -Hobe Sound, Indiantown, Downtown Stuart, and Port Salerno. For additional information, contact the Volunteer Manager at 772-545-1255 or Volunteer@bgcmartin.org Key responsibilities/Specific tasks: Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and harvesting produce. Help with general upkeep of garden infrastructure, including repairing raised beds, maintaining pathways, and cleaning garden tools. Work collaboratively with other volunteers, staff, and community partners to achieve goals and objectives for the garden. Uphold safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all garden visitors, volunteers, and youth.
