Position Title: Tableau Developer
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in modernizing and revamping our reporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx and a passion for turning raw data into insightful, visually engaging dashboards. You'll play a key role in transitioning legacy Excel-based reports into scalable, automated Tableau solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop, enhance, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements. Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and prepare data for use in Tableau reports. Use Alteryx for data blending, transformation, and workflow automation as needed. Lead efforts to modernize existing Tableau reports, improving usability, performance, and visual appeal. Migrate Excel-based reports and processes to Tableau to support scalability and consistency. Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data visualization best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve data or performance issues within Tableau reports and dashboards. Must Haves:
3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau development and dashboard/report creation. Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries for reporting. Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and automation. Proven experience in migrating reports from Excel to Tableau and modernizing legacy dashboards. Solid understanding of data modeling, data structures, and ETL processes.
