The Position
The Director of Transformation & Strategic Enablement will drive enterprise-level strategic initiatives and operational excellence. This integral member of the Operations Team will act as a trusted thought partner to the Chief Operating Officer and other key internal stakeholders and department leaders. Additionally, they will collaborate cross-functionally with all departments within the organization. This role is ideal for a former management consultant or strategy leader who is eager to transition into a high-impact operating position within a dynamic, purpose-driven healthcare services platform.
Key Responsibilities Establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO): Build scalable frameworks, tools, and processes to manage enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with CareVet's strategic priorities. Oversee strategic transformation projects: Drive high-visibility, cross-functional efforts (e.g., growth acceleration, operational efficiency, technology enablement etc.). Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership: Collaborate with the COO and executive team to define strategic priorities, establish KPIs, and monitor progress across the enterprise. Operationalize strategy: Translate executive vision into executable plans alongside P&L leaders - define business plan framework, milestones, resourcing needs, and success measures to deliver tangible business outcomes. Manage change and communication: Develop change-management strategies and communication plans to ensure organizational buy-in, adoption, and sustainability. Foster cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely across all functional disciplines to ensure coordinated execution of initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus 5-10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation leadership (preferably within animal or human healthcare multi-site services and private-equity-backed environments). Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept to execution. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive-level communication skills. Ability to operate with both strategic foresight and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting. What We Offer
