$20.00 - 26.00 per hour / Permanent Position / Benefits.
A machine job shop is hiring for a Machinist I / CNC Operator.
1 st Shift 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 2 nd Shift 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
REQUIREMENTS
Run a Lathe, Mill, Acme, Index or Hydromat Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verifies settings by measuring positions, and sample workpieces. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Deburring, sanding, completing day to day tasks required to complete and prepare product for next stage of work or process Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following company instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions or correcting minor mechanical issues. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job completion.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
