Outdoor Volunteer Day- White Point

Join us at White Point Nature Preserve! We will be planting native plant species and/or removing invasive, non-native plants to restore and improve critical habitat for wildlife at the preserve, and beautify outdoor natural space for the community. Your efforts will help restore this habitat for wildlife as well as create a beautiful outdoor space for the community to enjoy! White Point is located at 1600 W. Paseo del Mar in San Pedro. You can access the Nature Preserve by entering the free parking lot from Western Blvd as it turns into Paseo del Mar. We are located at the end of the road on the left-hand side. Rated: Easy to Moderate activity We will be working outdoors, so please wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection, bug spray and be sure to bring drinking water and a snack. A reusable water bottle is recommended. Long pants and a long-sleeved shirt are recommended. Please be prepared for mildly strenuous hiking to reach volunteer locations. Please arrive on time. We often work at a different location than the meetup point, so we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to participate if you are not there at the start time. All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign and complete their release before they can volunteer. Volunteers under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
