We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC, LCAS, etc.) to provide trauma-informed group facilitation for individuals with co-occurring disorders. The ideal candidate will support clients in their recovery journey through structured therapeutic groups that integrate evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and substance use recovery models.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate trauma-informed group counseling sessions, including psychoeducation, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and skills-building

Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Seeking Safety, EMDR-informed education, or motivational interviewing

Maintain ethical and professional boundaries and client confidentiality

Develop and implement group curricula aligned with individualized treatment plans and clinical objectives

Document group attendance, participation, and clinical progress in a timely and accurate manner in the EHR

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, medical staff, and peer support specialists

Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and staff development trainings

Identify and respond to client risk factors (e.g., trauma triggers, relapse indicators, mental health crises)

Provide culturally responsive and affirming care to individuals of diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients and those with lived trauma experiences

Qualifications:

Required:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field

Active licensure or certification (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, CADC, LCAS) in good standing

At least 1 year experience in substance use disorder treatment or co-occurring mental health services

Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

Group facilitation experience with high-risk or underserved populations

Preferred:

Familiarity with ASAM criteria and integrated treatment planning

Experience working in MAT programs or recovery settings

Completion of trauma-focused training (e.g., Seeking Safety, TF-CBT, or EMDR-informed care)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
