As an Automated Systems Technician, you will play a crucial, hands-on role in enhancing and optimizing our manufacturing equipment and processes. We are looking for a proactive individual eager to learn and adapt to the rapidly changing automation landscape. Your contributions will be vital in scaling our manufacturing operations and supporting our automation team in achieving strategic growth and technological advancements. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot automated systems and hardware effectively. Assist in the assembly and construction of custom automated equipment, test fixtures, and prototypes. Implement continuous improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality in manufacturing. Conduct experiments on prototype equipment and provide insightful feedback. Draft comprehensive reports on experimental outcomes. Develop manufacturing and maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs). Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate product development and manufacturing processes. Provide assistance to manufacturing operations as required. Qualifications: A minimum of 2.5 years in a maintenance or technical role. Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs and maintain a standing or sitting position for an entire shift. Willingness to work in a laboratory and cleanroom environment, wearing a lab coat, shoe covers, hair net, safety glasses, and gloves. Experience in troubleshooting electrical, control, and mechanical systems of automated equipment. Prior experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in high-volume automated production lines, is an advantage. Familiarity with machine vision, motion control, and PLC platforms, as well as general programming, is desirable. Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting goals and deadlines. Ability to learn new skills, solve complex technical challenges creatively, and work effectively in diverse multidisciplinary teams.
