Mammography Technologist

who prepares and performs mammographic specialized procedures for the diagnosis of breast conditions. Duties include explaining procedures to patients; preparing and positioning patients for exams; determining equipment requirements for the procedures and imaging or film necessary for physician's preliminary viewing; and assisting the physicians or nurses during procedures. *Official Title:

The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. upon meeting the minimum requirements for said higher level classification and receiving a satisfactory work progress report. Incumbents must promote within twenty-four (24) months or be terminated. Certifications:

Candidates must obtain certification in Fluoroscopy with the State of California, Department of Public Health within six (6) months of hire or be terminated. Must possess a Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. Sponsorship:

Certification:

Must possess and maintain current certifications with the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist

and

Mammographic Radiologic Technologist. CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health (must obtain within the first six (6) months of hire or be terminated). Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. Registration:

Must possess and maintain registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and possess a California State Mammography certificate. Experience:
