Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician Location: Lawrence KS 66049 Duration: 6+ Months Shift: First shift, 7am to 3pm, Some mandatory overtime and holiday work

**MGR needs more commercial building/facility maintenance then industrial equipment.

Summary

: Facilities Maintenance Technician will report to Facilities Manager working in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager. This is a general list of duties that are variable on a daily basis. When there seems to be no Facility work orders pending, the Technician can and will be used for other maintenance duties. Parking lot Landscaping & Grounds Maint. contracting Janitorial Contracting Fire Alarm Testing - Office Annual Fire System Testing coordination Annual insurance inspection (FM Global) ( Maintenance Super and Facilities Maint. combined) Fire Chief Inspection ( HSE Mgr., Maintenance Super and Facilities Maint. combined) EPACS system - Equipment up keep (access control is still under HSE Mgr. responsibility) Office furniture Upkeep requests Office Elevator inspections / maint. Roof Plumbing - Facilities Floor/Concrete BLDG infrastructure (i.e. columns, siding, floor, etc.) Exterior Painting Fire System Testing Banbury (i.e. elevator and lift equipment) Facility Lighting General facility electrical including conduit and running wires

Any work performed by the MT that can't be completed due to expertise or knowledge, MT should contact the manager before hiring outside contractors. This would be to try to solve the matter with expertise in the maintenance group before hiring outside contractors. Contact to outside contractors for bids needs to be communicated to the Facilities Manager and discussed before doing so. This would include bidding for facility repairs and updates. Facility Manager should be included on all bidding contracts via email after the discussion. When technician is working on a priority job, any interference moving them off that job should be communicated to the manager before pulling off priority job.
