Area Speech Language Pathologist , you will deliver personalized speech therapy services designed to meet the unique needs of students in

Grades K-12

across various Spectrum School locations. Your work will focus on achieving speech therapy goals and enhancing overall communication skills. Responsibilities Include: Conduct evaluations to identify students' speech-language therapy needs and determine service levels. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's strengths and objectives. Set collaborative, student-centered goals with families and educational teams. Regularly monitor student progress through data-driven assessments, adjusting therapy plans accordingly. Provide direct speech and language therapy using evidence-based strategies in natural settings. Document therapy sessions accurately to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Maintain comprehensive case records, including timely documentation and billing. Communicate openly with families about therapy schedules and student progress. Collaborate with educators and service providers to integrate therapy goals into daily activities. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and inform treatment recommendations. Mentor educators and staff to optimize therapy plan implementation. Conduct client intakes and clinical assessments, contributing insights for program improvement. Oversee the consistency of therapy services across school locations, aligning with best practices. Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of emerging practices in speech-language pathology. Travel regularly between assigned school locations to provide clinical support and direct services. Perform additional projects as requested by program directors or regional management. Qualifications Required: Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related discipline. Current or in-process licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Valid CA state driver's license. Experience in providing speech-language therapy, preferably in educational or behavioral health settings. Knowledge of special education services and compliance, especially for students with diverse needs. Proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Strong relationship-building skills with students, families, and educational partners. Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with relevant technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management. Spectrum Center Schools
