Responsibilities
Weekend night shift welder position (Friday-Sunday, 5pm-5am) Weld materials are primarily aluminum Typical operations include welding aluminum tubing to pads using turntable, back plates and knobs to brackets, hooks to square tubing, pads to extrusions, etc... Weld operator is responsible for all equipment set ups and to perform a proper weld on each part / component. Responsible to complete each discrete jobs by verifying proper material from staged area before welding. Follow weld instructions/requirements from discrete job, access drawings from computer system to verify special requirements. Move/deliver product to next operation. Personal Qualities
Communication - possess strong written and verbal skills Attitude - maintains positive outlook and response under pressure. Problem Solving - ability to diagnose and recommend solutions to resolve issues Detailed - able to keep detailed and accurate records Meet production standards for output / efficiency Qualifications
High school diploma/GED preferred Minimum of two years MIG welding experience required Welder certification is a plus
