Description
Summary
The Finance Manager, MSO Services supports the financial management, reporting, and analysis of the Alliance's Management Services Organization (MSO) operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate MSO expense reporting, maintaining standardized allocation methodologies, and delivering timely financial insights to corporate and regional leaders. The Finance Manager partners closely with corporate department leaders (HR, IT, Marketing, RCM, etc.), Accounting, and FP&A to drive data integrity, transparency, and efficiency across the MSO financial framework. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to financial operations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasts for MSO departments in collaboration with MSO department heads and regional leadership. Develop and maintain financial models used to project MSO cost trends and allocation impacts across divisions. Provide clear commentary and insights to support management review and decision-making. MSO Financial Strategy and Governance
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the financial terms and operational implications of Management Services Agreements (MSAs). Maintain standardized methodologies for MSO expense classification and allocation across all service lines and regions. Assist in reviewing and reconciling MSO allocations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with the corporate cost-sharing structure. Support integration of new SBUs or corporate functions into the standardized MSO expense reporting framework. Qualifications
Business Partnership & Decision
Collaborate with corporate function leaders (e.g., HR, IT, Marketing, Compliance) to understand departmental financial needs and identify opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement. Support executive leadership in assessing ROI, evaluating strategic investments, and preparing business cases. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams. Support ad hoc analysis and presentations for executive leadership, including Board and CFO reviews. Reporting and Controls
Partner with Corporate FP&A and Accounting to align MSO reporting with consolidated financial statements. Design and maintain MSO-specific financial reports and KPIs to support transparency and accountability across functions. Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and variance analyses comparing actual performance to budget and forecast. Uphold strong internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory standards.
