Law Job Description

The primary function of this position is to support the activities of the Child & Family Justice Clinic in the School of Law, overseeing office operations and client case management.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist, interact, assign, and docket cases for students, while also maintaining client confidentiality Operate and manage conflict checks on all clinic cases in a database Oversee the office, order all necessary supplies, interact with vendors, maintain all service needs of the office, and respond to clinic inquiries Handle expense and accounting matters for clinical faculty and for the clinic; monitor financial records for all clinic accounts Seek grant opportunities for the clinics; assist with preparation of grant applications Supervise work study students; monitor and approve student timesheets Maintain supervisor's schedule and coordinate calendars, events, meetings, travel, and appointments Effectively communicate with various audiences both orally and through written platforms

Shift

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an administrative support position; Notary Public or willingness to become one

Anticipated Hiring Range
