Project Manager Responsibilities
Partner with the Construction Supervisor to plan and document projects. Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to Thoughtforms’ quality standards; synthesize and communicate data to inform client decisions. Manage and control project finances, establish control estimates, identify cost-saving opportunities, and communicate costs to clients. Bid and subcontract work; verify/process subcontractor and vendor invoices. Lead and document weekly project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and project partners. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; regularly communicate progress to clients and internal teams. Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Establish strong relationships with coworkers, the design team, and clients to ensure collaboration and client satisfaction. Maintain Thoughtforms’ reputation for excellence by performing at a high level and setting a professional example. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential construction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and project partners. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on innovative solutions. Advanced financial management experience, including budgeting and construction software proficiency (e.g., Timberline/Sage, Procore). Experience reviewing plans and specifications (hard copy and digital) and ensuring subcontractor bids and billing reflect actual progress. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or systems engineering, or architecture preferred. LEED, PHIUS and PMP certifications and Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License are a plus. Salary and Benefits
