Description:
The employer is seeking an experienced API Developer with a strong background in Java development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable APIs that integrate with the employer's various systems and applications. This includes tasks such as analyzing requirements, writing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. The job shift is typically from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines. The job assignment is onsite at the employer's facilities.

Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable APIs using Java and associated frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UI/UX designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions Implement secure and reliable API authentication and authorization mechanisms Ensure API performance, scalability, and fault tolerance through effective testing and monitoring Contribute to the continuous improvement of the API architecture and development processes Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in API development About Client: The employer is a leading hotel and resort chain that operates the Marriott Waterfront Hotel.
