ROLE SUMMARY
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our workforce receives responsive and comprehensive support in various HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, engagement, development benefits, and pay administration. You will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive work environment for our employees, contributing to their professional growth and overall satisfaction. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. We are seeking an individual with a passion for making a positive impact on employees' lives and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
You will partner closely with leaders and team members to deliver an exceptional employee experience across the full HR lifecycle-onboarding, benefits, engagement, performance, and everything in between. We're looking for someone who is proactive, approachable, and genuinely passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives.
Key Responsibilities Create Great First Impressions: Lead the onboarding process, ensuring every new hire feels welcomed, supported, and excited to join the Locke team. Support Our People Daily: Serve as a go-to resource for employees-answering questions, solving problems, and providing guidance with empathy and discretion. Reinforce Locke's Culture Through Appreciation: I support employee engagement and recognition programs that celebrate contributions and strengthen belonging. Manage Payroll and Benefits: Process bi-weekly payroll and oversee benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timely support for employee needs. Partner with Leaders: Collaborate with managers to navigate employee relations, performance discussions, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner. Foster Growth and Compliance: Support required training, certifications, and professional development programs to help employees stay compliant and advance their skills. Ensure Legal and Ethical Integrity: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and regularly review policies to reflect best practices. Champion HR Systems and Processes: Help optimize our HR systems and processes to enhance employee experience and improve efficiency. Stay Curious and Current: Keep up with trends in HR, talent management, and employment law to bring fresh ideas to the team. Be a Cultural Ambassador: Model Locke's core values in everything you do Performs other HR related duties as assigned. KEY RESULTS: Achieve a 95% or higher rate of employees answering "Yes" when asked, "Are you confident your HR-related questions will be answered in a timely fashion?"

Successful completion for new hire onboarding tasks, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
Coordinate seamless onboarding processes Provide comprehensive support to new hires Proactively address any onboarding challenges or issues
Increase employee engagement through the successful implementation of employee recognition programs and internal training initiatives.
Implement employee recognition initiatives Facilitate engaging training sessions, and actively solicit feedback to continuously improve programs
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources roles. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proactive problem solver with a customer service-oriented mindset. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
