The Student Success Programs Coordinator operates out of the Undergraduate Student Services Office and is responsible for coordinating programming and student appointments for all students in the School of Business Atmos program, providing front-line support for student inquiries, and working with the Undergraduate Student Services Team to ensure positive student success outcomes. The Coordinator also manages the Summer Business Institute, a week-long immersive business education program for high‑school students. The position reports to the Director of Student Success in the School of Business and is a 12‑month role.
Responsibilities
Coordinate programming and student appointments for the Atmos program.
Provide front-line support and counseling to students.
Collaborate with the Undergraduate Student Services Team to support student success outcomes.
Manage the Summer Business Institute program.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS with 1–2 years of related experience in higher education.
Experience providing coaching, counseling, mentoring, or advising to students.
Ability to work collaboratively and under limited time pressures with colleagues.
Prior experience working with students from historically under‑served communities.
Preferred Qualifications
Create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates differences.
Communicate effectively and respectfully within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
Seek opportunities to gain experience working and collaborating in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings with a willingness to change for continual improvement.
Adhere to all PSU policies including Prohibited Discrimination & Harassment and the Professional Standards of Conduct.
Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Schedule to be determined.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting annual salary: $57,000 (negotiable based on experience).
Benefits include 95% premium‑paid healthcare, generous retirement and vacation packages, and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse, or dependent at Oregon University System schools.
